PDN is one of the biggest magazines for photographers and it’s a great honor to be included in one of their contests. Last June Clarissa won PDN’s search for undiscovered fine art photography. That means we’ve BOTH placed in PDN contests in the past year. Pretty awesome!
We’re very proud to announce that Clarissa will be appearing in the July issue of PDN! For those of you who don’t know, PDN is one of (if not THE) biggest photo magazines around, so this is a very big honor. She actually won an international contest that was searching for “outstanding and undiscovered fine-art photography.” She won the student category (she entered the contest a couple months before graduating with her MFA).
As a part of the contest, her work will also be exhibited in New York City during Photoville! The Curator show will run from June 22nd to July 1, 2012. Stop by and take a look if your in NYC.
Issues are just now arriving at subscribers doorsteps, so keep an eye out at your local bookstore, it should be there soon!
Clarissa will be graduating with her MFA in Photography from Columbia College this week! YAY!! You can see some of her work hanging during the graduate thesis exhibition at the Glass Curtain Gallery. The opening is this Friday (April 4) from 5-8pm, and the show will be up through June 1st. We’d love to see anyone who could make it to the opening!
